A Stampede of Giving: Sexy Sammies Donates and Volunteers at the Greeley Stampede

What a gorgeous summer it has been, and with things heating up in July, Sexy Sammies is proud to have been a part of the Greeley Stampede.

With our business growing and our involvement in the community following suit, we thoroughly enjoyed giving back at our biggest event to date - The Greeley Stampede

Our First Rodeo (But Not Our Last)

Some of the same students we supported in May likely attend The Greeley Stampede, which is a local non-profit organization that puts on some of the biggest events in the Greeley area. Their largest one, also called The Greeley Stampede, aims to bring western culture to a 12-day event leading up to the Fourth of July each year. There are concerts, a PRCA rodeo series, a youth rodeo, bullfighting, a demolition derby, a carnival, tons of local and national vendors, and much more.

With over 260,000 visitors stampeding through Island Grove Regional Park each year, you can imagine how much work is put into such an awesome event.

Volunteers put on their cowboy boots and saddle up for a wild ride, so on multiple evenings, the Sammies Tender Team delivered our hand-breaded tenders to the volunteers and security throughout the event.

Hot damn, giving back is SEXY!

Chicken for Cops and Filling Bellies at the Big Buckle Ball

We got saucy and kept the cowboys and cowgirls hooting and hollering by serving over 1000 guests our scrumptious chicken tenders and refreshing summer salad. The Big Buckle Ball is always a grand time, featuring silent and live auctions benefiting the Greeley Stampede Foundation, a complimentary bar, dinner, and live music!

We also helped out the Weld County Sheriffs, feeding their entire team before they saddled up to protect everyone during the long night.

Does chicken help stop crime? Maybe.

N40 Sponsorship

The North 40 (N40) is a BIG part of our Stampede sponsorship.

The North 40 is a portion of the park roped off for sponsors and community members who support the Greeley Stampede. To serve them, we rotated the three concepts of the Centennial Hospitality Group (Lunas, Sexy Sammies, Wing Shack), serving snack/hors d'oeuvre size treats to all of our guests. We provided this service throughout the entire Stampede, giving the Greeley and Stampede community a tasting of what we offer.

At the end of every night, we also feed the Stampede volunteers and Stampede security.

It’s safe to say that we had a stomping good time, and the best part is that we get to do good in our community!
